2.5 starsOkay, so, I'm not sure how exactly to start this review. I can say that I'm only giving it the rating I'm giving it because I loved Braden. Oh, and Ellie. But Braden definitely made this book worth my two days.Overall, I liked the story. Though, it did take me a bit to get into. I found a lot of the opening to be overly worded and excessively detailed. Like the author opened my head and was cramming in details I didn't care to know. It felt a bit like badly edited fanfiction I've read far too many times than I should admit. But really, I don't want to read shit like what kind of Yves Saint Laurent shoes Joss is wearing, or the Coke they're drinking, or the Victoria Secret bra Braden's taking off. Especially since it's Victoria's Secret.Which brings me to my next point...I know no editor is perfect, and sometimes typos and mistakes happen in books published by the big six, but come on. Some very basic grammar rules were missed several times throughout. I don't understand that, especially since this book seems to have had more than one editor. I don't know, maybe it's just me. If I were to ever self publish anything, I'd feel like I had to work harder and make sure every single thing was perfect. Although, that could be my OCD side talking, I know I wouldn't want to waste my time or money, or anyone else's on something that has potential, but just wasn't put together as well as it could have been. All that being said, I will remind you again that I loved Braden. And I did not mind anything that came out of his mouth. Well, except for maybe that one thing in the kitchen when I wanted to junk punch him. But then I just wanted to hit them both. I tried to like Joss, and I tried not to be frustrated with her, but it just didn't work. And I feel like Braden gave in way too easily in the end. I wanted her to work for it a little harder. No pun intended.Okay, maybe a little.
