Who knew Greek mythology could be so fun? Let alone so funny? Not me, that's for sure. So let me just say this: I got schooled by Tellulah Darling.Sophie Bloom is your regular, unsuspecting sixteen year old girl. Dealing with high school drama, plotting pranks for Halloween to get back at the uberbitch, Bethany (who's mission it is to make Sophie's life miserable). Unfortunately, what Sophie doesn't plan for is that her one simple prank will lead to one killer kiss (with a hot, mysterious stranger) that's suddenly got her remembering exactly who and what she is.Persephone. The Goddess of Spring. Daughter of Zeus. And apparently the key to settling an age old score between dark and light. If only she could just remember how...Goddess training is serious business. Paired with her best friends, Hannah and Theo, these three make a vicious team. Add in the hot mysterious dude, Kai, who also happens to be Sophie--err Persephone's ex (and the son of Hades)--and what do you have? A fun protagonist with my kind of snark. An exciting and interesting tale with laugh out loud moments (I giggled so much throughout this book). Oh, and there's also dragon slaying, kissing, Nymphs, oracles and some subtle swoons I'm looking forward to seeing more of.I personally can't wait to see what's in store for these characters in My Date From Hell!
