This book fell short for me. Which is sad, because look at that cover! It's amazing, right? Someday I'll learn not to let pretty covers entice me...I wanted to like this, but to be honest, I couldn't get attached to any of the characters, or their supposed "love" story. It was the cliche young stupid girl with problems meets young stupid boy with problems and their love makes everything perfect kind of book. And maybe I've just read it too many times, but it definitely didn't work because I believed none of it. The characters felt under-developed, as did their connection. I wanted more. I wanted to believe, and it just never happened.Somehow though, I managed to make it through the entire thing, get to 99%, and then they had to go and reference that book. You know what I'm talking about.Instant flounce.
