The Madman's Daughter

The Madman's Daughter - I'll admit something: I wasn't sure I really wanted to read this book. Why? Because historical fiction bores the crap out of me. I avoid it like the plague. But this didn't bore me. Not one single bit.I was intrigued from the very beginning, and my interest only grew with each page I turned. Whereas I usually breeze through books, this one, I savored. I'm not sure why, other than to say I really liked it. It felt like I was reading the script to some twisted, unknown episode of LOST with all new characters. The mystery, the science, the creepy-factor, the love (and even the swoons)... It all came together to make one pretty cool story that I'm so glad I didn't talk myself out of reading. So, if you're debating on whether or not to read this...I'm recommending you to give it a shot.
