His Eyes

His Eyes - Renee Carter I can't remember where I found this book, but after reading the summary, I had a feeling I was going to like it. And I did. It's fairly short (196 pages) and it only took me a few hours to read, partly because I couldn't put it down. I loved Amy's voice and of course, the supporting characters (with the exception of Kristy and Lexus). Tristan was this sweet, broken boy who just needed to see that what happened to him didn't change who he was, just his circumstances. His younger siblings Chris and Marly absolutely warmed my heart. Those two had me giggling and smiling quite a bit. This is definitely something I would recommend if you want something that's going to tug on your heart strings but leave you smiling in the end. It did everything I think a book's supposed to do even though it's technically just fanfiction.
